How Far Along: 20 weeks and 1 day!
Size of baby: A banana. I like thinking about that, because that seems big!
Sleep: Slept well last night, but the night before was so excited to see you again during our ultrasound and find out whether you're a boy or girl I hardly slept that night.
Total Weight Gain: OK, I was wrong a few days ago, I think now I've gained about 10 pounds, maybe 11 and I read some where I should be gaining another pound per week.. so that's another 20 pounds. Yikes! Where is it all going to go??
Symptoms: Sleepy and out of breath easily, but overall feeling pretty good.
Movement: So much movement. I am sure in a few weeks I will think of this movement as nothing for what's to come and how much you'll be kicking me, but so many little bubbly movements in my belly, I actually love the way it feels.
Maternity Clothes: No new clothes for me. But did buy something for you! Your first pair of shoes, will see what they look like as you read on this post.
Go-to eats: For some reason I am really craving tofu.. but I heard it's not good for you, so I am trying not to eat too much of it, but man does it taste good to me right now.
Best moment of the week: Finding out your gender! And drum roll please....

Gender: A girl! You're a baby girl. Everyone was right. I thought maybe you were a boy for a bit, but then I kept going back and forth and before I went to the doctor's yesterday to see you I did know you were going to be a girl, but everyone was right this whole time. Dad said last night that you were his princess and that he already knew he would die for you. He's going to be an amazing Daddy... Man are you one lucky girl.. Here is your most recent photo shoot. You were being a little shy, but we did get some good shots.

Here you are! Flashing us your two "lines"

Your beautiful side profile:

I love this one!  Your little hand waving "hello"!

We bought you your first pair of shoes!

And here is Dad and I messing around after we found out we were having a girl...

Workout: Not good at all... sorry baby girl, I've been lazy this week.
What I’m looking forward to: Seeing you grow and I keep thinking about what you going to look like. I think you're going to be a beauty. Hapa girls are lookers!
Milestones and stressors: I was so happy to see you yesterday. We saw your spine, kidneys, strong heart beat, your arms and legs (they were folded) your cute little hand and obviously your 2 lines to tell us you're a girl. And everything looked perfect. Nothing to worry about. But you were face down again. I guess that's just a comfy position for you, so we couldn't really see your face. The practioner jiggled you around a bit and woke you up and had me turn to my side. But of course, being the worry wart that I am, as soon as I got home, I googled face down babies in ultrasounds and everything says it's perfectly normal, especially at this phase since you are still small and like to move around, and I searched lots of article, but then one article said it could mean down syndrome. What? I told Brian and he said that was silly, like because you are down you have downs? So of course I know that it is not true! And to be honest even in that article people commented to her post saying that is totally false and that lady was being crazy. You're going to be a perfect baby girl! Smart, beautiful, funny, sophisticated, kind to others. I just know it! I can't wait to meet  you. Your due date is September 14th. I wonder how you will come into this world? Hopefully at the right speed and don't hurt me too much ;)

Also side note, I am so paranoid I emailed my doctor about my worries of you being face down and he wrote this... I knew everything was just fine. If I  worry this much now, how am I going to be when you're a  teenager. Yikes!

Hi Jennifer,

I took a look at your ultrasound report. Everything looked fine. Babies move around all of the time. I would not give it a second thought.
