How Far Along: 12 weeks!
Size of baby: A plum. Crazy getting big fast. Can't believe the next ultra sound won't be until 16 weeks. Can't wait to you again.
Sleep: Feeling like I have more energy. Busy week this week with work, so if I push through that after slump I can go until about 10:30pm now. Woo hoo. Drank a little tiny bit of caffeine this week too 1/2 cup of coffee about twice this week, I know that's a no-no but with the week I had I need a little boost to get me through.
Total Weight Gain: Eh depends on what time I weigh myself, but really haven't seen any weight gain. Which is good, wasn't the thinnest when I started.
Symptoms: More hungry, but also more energy
Movement: No movement yet. But so excited for this day to come!
Maternity Clothes: Went into the office every day this week and wore dresses that really hid my growing bump well. Just wore clothes I've always had, so not into the maternity clothes yet, unless it's jeans. Definitely can't wear those skinny jeans anymore.
Go-to eats:  Not craving meat at all. Need to find another way to get protein into me. Love yogurt, and still have that darn sweet tooth. Need to work on this.
Best moment of the week: Starting to tell more people. Some more people from work and some more friends. But also anxiously waiting to hear back about a possible new job opportunity. Seems like crazy timing, but this job seems too good to pass up.
Gender: Still no clue! Can't wait to find out at 16 weeks on the March 31st appt. Booked a hotel for my bday weekend in Half Moon Bay, overlooking the ocean. Can't wait to open up that envelope with Brian on our balcony. It will be the best bday surprise ever!
Workout: Went to the gym only once this week. I should try and go today too..
What I’m looking forward to: Seeing my girls next week in SD and showing you off to them for the first time. And getting to really see you at the 16 week ultra sound.
Milestones and stressors: Lots going on, possible new job, possible house purchase. All excited things, but also big stressors.
