How Far Along: 27 weeks!
Size of baby: Rutabaga. What is a Rutabaga? What ever it is... must be big because I feel huge ;)

Sleep: Is so-so, sometimes my hips will hurt and it's harder to pop out of bed. I also have to pee a lot. But I hear it only gets worse in the last 3 months, so grateful for how much I am getting now.
Total Weight Gain: 25 pounds. Uh oh.. that's like 6 pounds since the last post and I am suppose to be only gaining a pound a week. Slow it down!
Symptoms: Feeling big. Definitely look pregnant. I feel like when you're pregnant you think you don't really look pregnant, and then you look in a mirror and wowza, there you are baby! My back is starting to hurt a bit carrying this weight around. Also feet are bit swollen, so I like wearing sandals.
Movement: You're moving away. Still feel a bit low, but slowly the movement feels higher and higher. That means you're getting bigger and bigger. Keep growing baby girl.
Maternity Clothes: You know I don't really want to have to buy clothes, but things are just starting to not look right. And since I have to be somewhat presentable every day at work, my clothes are becoming limiting. So I shop sparingly, but I got a cute pair of white maternity pants (from Ross! $14.99!) love good deals.
Go-to eats: Well I found out some bad news that I failed my 1-hour glucose screening test. Boo. By 2 points. I guess normal is under 139 and I got 141. So that means I have to go back to the hospital for a 3 hour test on Friday (so it's more accurate) and they will draw my blood 4 times. Ugg, not looking forward to that. So we'll see what this test reveals, but if it's positive, then that means I have gestational diabetes and I really have to watch my diet. Which I will be honest with you, I haven't been the best at. I kind just eat what I crave.. I do try and throw some fruit (loving fruit) and other healthy things in the mix, but I've been loving my sweets. But if I have GD, no more sweets!
Best moment of the week: Well today our 3 year anniversary! Woo hoo. We're going to Shadowbrook for dinner tonight. So that should be fun. Last weekend saw some of your future friends. Went to Renee's baby shower and celebrated the arrival of her upcoming baby girl. We also met Ronan, Shirene's baby boy and all her family was celebrating AJs first bday. And Sunday we BBQed at MaMa's house for Father's Day. Busy weekend. The weekend before went boating and swimming, got lots of sun.

Gender: Have not even thought of a name! You might be nameless baby girl till the day you're born.
Workout: If I have GD, I better be ready to work out more, but so far I move around daily due to going to work and I live a some what active lifestyle. When it was warmer last week I went swimming a few times. Love to feel light in the water. But other then that I am not running marathons or anything ;) But I could be walking a bit more.
What I’m looking forward to: Getting started on the house! Really getting started! We have a contractor. Mr Wong who did the duplex. Yipee! Brian and I went to Home Depot the day before yesterday and got a good list going and he went back yesterday evening with Eric and picked it up a bunch of materials. We are going to have a beautiful new house for a our beautiful baby girl to play in soon.

Milestones and stressors: I guess this dreaded 3 hour glucose test that I have to do on Friday is a bit stressful. I hate getting my blood drawn, but 4 times in 3 hours. Ouch! But other then that feeling good, feeling positive. I need to start looking into birthing classes and getting a tour scheduled of the hospital. Lots of to-dos! Once the house if started and finished I'll feel much better too. My "nesting" tendencies make me a bit anxious (especially with your father) that garage!!

How Far Along: 25 weeks!
Size of baby: Cauliflower! That sounds funny, since it this can vary in size, but I think we're talking a big head of cauliflower.

Sleep: Eh, it was going well until last night when I woke up at 2am and couldn't go back to sleep until 5am. So hopefully this trend doesn't continue.
Total Weight Gain: Maybe 19 pounds now? I haven't weighed myself much this week. But even though the doctor told me to cut back, I didn't really listen to her... oops. I am still loving my sweets! Baby I am going to give you a sweet tooth!
Symptoms: I feel pretty good. I get out of breath easily and I did feel a little bit of cramping on some days. But I guess that's all normal.  And man do I have to PEE more. All the time now.
Movement: You're moving and moving. Keep it up baby girl! Move away! I think you are still low in my belly, because I only feel you moving below my bellybutton, but pretty soon you'll start to move up higher and you'll probably start to kick me in the ribs. But I don't mind.
Maternity Clothes: No shopping this week. Auntie Grace bought me a nice dress and I took a picture and I felt like I looked much bigger in the photo then I thought I looked in person. I think that's going to start happening more and more.
Go-to eats: Dad has been making us some great meals! He made us steak the other night with asparagus and chicken and squash last night. He is becoming quite the chef. At work there are so many healthy options, but I'll be honest this week I went for sushi, pasta... could have been better.
Best moment of the week: This past weekend was super relaxing. Friday Dad and I had our usual date night in LG. Saturday morning we picked out materials for our remodel (Mom, your MaMa came and we went to lunch) I took a nice long nap. Then went over to MaMas and GPs had dinner, went on a nice walk with them and watched some Breaking Bad. Woke up early on Sunday, went to Cameron's 4th bday party, napped again! And then Jenny came over for a swim so we got a bit of exercise and some vitamin D :) This week at work has been good, lots of meetings, but nothing too strenuous.
Gender: Quinley.. that's our newest name. But it doesn't go well with Kikue, so I was thinking Quinley Grace. What do you think?
Workout: Well after our doctors appt last week I did take you on some walks. Brian and I walked a couple nights last week, I went swimming, walked with my parents. So not bad.. but of course could always be better.
What I’m looking forward to: Getting started on the house! Also we might be heading up to Redding this weekend to see your BF Maxwell. But we'll see how Pam is feeling. Here is the kitchen we are looking into getting..

Milestones and stressors: Things are great this week! Every day is a big milestone for you baby girl because you are growing so well, but nothing new that has been stressful this week. Expect the remodel that is going to be wonderful, but stressful all at the same time.
