Almost there... countdown is on.

How Far Along: 33 weeks!
Size of baby: Celery

Sleep: Rough. Getting super uncomfortable, have this slight pain in my back on the left side and to make matters worse, Emma has completely regressed when it comes to sleep, so now I have to lay with her until she falls completely asleep (with my arms around her) and then she wakes up all through the night, at least once or twice and Brian goes in there and sleeps with her. Or sometimes I will, but it's mainly Brian, because I am not comfortable and need to pee all the time. We had to transition her out of her crib because she was climbing out, but to be honest, I dont think she was ready and now we're dealing with a nightmare.. ugh, right when you feel like things are figured out.
Total Weight Gain: I am 185. Sounds massive and starting to feel huge, but considering I was about here with Emma at this time, that doesn't seem terrible since I started out at a much higher weight with this one.
Symptoms: Large and in charge. Feel the itchy belly because of the stretching.
Movement: Yes! Love the movements, need to stay on top of my kick counter.
Maternity Clothes: Not buying new ones, have enough from before. Wish I didn't sell any of them at that garage sale though :P
Go-to eats: Sweet tooth. So bad!
Best moment of the week(s): Well I am heading to Palm Springs this weekend for my 35th birthday weekend with Vee, Rinee and Jen. Very excited. Worse moment of last week was when I caught a stomach bug and was vomiting all day last Sunday and had to go to the hosiptal and go on IV and then even said I had to get a catherder put in until I begged them not to.. Thank goodness that didn't have to happen because I peed. But man I am ready for a break. I am exhausted. But of course now have a sore throat (again). Maternity leaves starts in 2 weeks. Counting down the days, so I can at least focus on one less thing... so long for now. Hopefully my next update wont be when the new baby is 2 years old! That's how far apart these posts have been...

How Far Along: 23 weeks!
Size of baby: Grapefruit. Wow! Can't believe how fast this pregnancy is going

Sleep: I get tired early, which is nice because it's easy for me to go to sleep.
Total Weight Gain: 9 lbs, so 176. Can't gain too much though because I was big when I started!
Symptoms: Starting to feel sluggish. Harder to move around. Even took the elevator today to go up one floor at work. #lazy
Movement: My little mover and shaker! Feel like you've been super active for awhile. Hopefully that doesn't mean you're a wild child, we already have one of those ;) but as long as your healthy that's all that matters. My little wild one.
Maternity Clothes: Oh yes, busting out the maternity clothes for sure. Got new leggings from Motherhood Maternity that I just want to live in.
Go-to eats: Hmm ate almost a whole pan of rice crispy treats the other day. And there is a candy drawer at work. Dangerous
Best moment of the week(s): Emma loves it when I read you this book called "hello in there" It's the sweetest book about a growing belly. I think and hope she will be a good big sister. Work knows I am pregnant now. Big stress reliever. Hoping to take 6 months off. Hallelujah. So needed after only my 8 fast weeks with Emma. Also got to see you at 21 weeks! You look like Emma. Which is a wonderful thing because we all know what a cutie pie she is.

Emma's going to be a BIG sister! 14 weeks

How Far Along: 14 weeks!
Size of baby: A lemon.

Sleep: Things are a bit different with this pregnancy. With Emma I could sleep whenever I wanted, but with having a toddler already in the picture, sleep is a different story. I was super exhausted for the first trimester, and slept like a baby, except having to wake up to pee. But now, starting to have a harder time falling asleep, and then with Emma waking up early, it makes it harder to relax. But still grateful she sleeps well. Hope the new baby is as good of a sleeper :)
Total Weight Gain: I have actually not gained weight, but never lost all the weight from Emma, so I need to be slow and steady with this one! Right now I am 167, so can't gain too much weight in total.
Symptoms: Not as tired or nauseous, likes week 7-9. Whew! But starting to show and just feel big.
Movement: Sometimes I feel like I feel you already, but that's not possible! Maybe it's just my tummy rumbling.
Maternity Clothes: No mat clothes yet! Holding out, can still fit into regular jeans
Go-to eats: Hmm, bagels, sweets, just had pickles yesterday. Better not fail my glucose test
Best moment of the week(s): This morning. When the first thing Emma said was, I love you mommy. Then we just sat on the couch talking and she said, I want to see the baby. And even said my baby sister with a big smile. So I showed her my belly. Then I asked her what we should name the baby and she suggested Maya and Sophia (the two names she knows from her favorite cartoons). Gosh I love her to pieces. But she is starting to really get it. She's so smart...

How Old is Emma: 15 months (almost 16 months in 10 days)
Size of Emma: Last weigh in you were 18.7 pounds, but that was 3 months ago! I am assuming you're closer to 20 pounds now.

Sleep: You love to wake up at 5:30am! That's your new wake up time, no matter what time you go to sleep, which is usually between 7-8pm. You're still on 2 naps, but trying to transition you down to 1 nap a day so that will hopefully help sleep in later.
New Emma Accomplishments: You are becoming so independent, "reading" to yourself. You even close your bedroom door on us, for alone time! You still say mama, dada, up and nose and bye bye. I think over the next couple of months your vocabulary will really start to take off.
Movement: Walker/runner now! Also you're my little climber! Always crawling on things, you move so fast now.
Go-to eats: Since I am on a business trip right now, I decided when I get home, no more booby milk. But we did pretty good. 15 months! Now you still love cow whole milk and drink it warm (only) oops that was our mistake. And you love fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, porridge and still love goldfish.
Best moment of the week(s): When we took you to Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk (over the holidays) and we rode the ride that whips you around the corners and you would crash into me and laugh so loud. I loved that moment. You're becoming so fun.
Emma's favorite things: Katrina is now taking you to the DuckPond! So you can play with other kids and getting more and more social, even though that was never a problem for you.
Here are some pics recent pics:

Workout: Does this mean me or you? Because me, I am failing miserably when it comes to working out. You are the other hand love to "jump" on the bed, couch and crawl up everything, so you my dear are burning much more calories then this mama.
Milestones and stressors: Since the last post we celebrated Thanksgiving (not a success since dada drank too much) And Christmas which was also not a success so both you and I got Norovirus from Maxwell and was throwing up violently on Christmas eve and Christmas. But it's OK, you're too young to remember anyways and it was kind of nice just celebrating with our small little family.

How Old is Emma: 13 months
Size of Emma: Last weigh in you were 18.7 pounds

Sleep: My sleeping angel (but don't want to jinx myself) but you go to bed around 8pm and wake up around 6:30am. You still take 2 naps a day. One in the morning and the other in the afternoon. Both range about 1-2 hours.
New Emma Accomplishments: 4 teeth and 1 more on the way on the bottom.  Of course you say "mama" and "dada" and "up". Up is your favorite. You smile, laugh, shake your head no. You can sign "all done". You are growing up so fast and becoming so smart.
Movement: Walking! You started at about 11 months, but just look like a drunk guy that can't hold his own. But now are you taking more and more steps each day.
Go-to eats: Still have a little boobie, but not much anymore. Since I stop pumping months ago, you just have some for breakfast (while watching Bubble Guppies in bed with me) and at night. You are starting to get fussy though and pull my shirt in public, so boobies might be going away soon altogether. You eat everything now though. You love cantaloupe, strawberries and goldfish. When you first started eating you weren't picky at all, but now your palette has gotten more sophisticated and you only like certain things.
Best moment of the week(s): When you chase me down the hallway and I hid and pop out from behind each room and you laugh so hard. I love your laughter.
Emma's favorite things: You love your "I am Bunny" book. You also still love your grey blanket. You love your walkers, your rocking horse, your pink chair.
Here are some pics recent pics:

Workout: You love to take laps around PoPo's huge kitchen island in your walker. You also are better in the stroller, even though when you're with me, you prefer to be in the ergo baby carrier.
Milestones and stressors: Your first birthday party! HUGE success. Over 100 people there to celebrate you in hula skirts and Hawaiian shirts.  Stressors though has been my travel. Ugg, been gone a lot over the past 5 weeks. But this is my last trip for the season. But we've had a lot of fun though on the weekends. We went to Santa Cruz and stayed the Dream Inn for dada's bday. We went to the pumpkin patch. Went to Happy Hollow and Vasona Park last weekend.

How Old is Emma: 3 months and 3 weeks.
Size of Emma: Last weigh in you were 13 pounds.

Sleep: You go to bed around 8pm and wake up around 1am, go back to sleep till about 6am (while sucking on my boob) and then you usually stay in bed with us until I have to go to work. This has been the sleep schedule since about Christmas. Prior to that from 2-3 months you sleeping from 9pm-6am. Before that was all a blur ;) Experienced "witching hour" in the first month, watched lots of Parenthood. And would feed all night, did supplement feeding (with the tub for about 1 1/2 weeks, then started the bottle after that) since you dropped a lot of weight after you were born.
New Emma Accomplishments: Rolled over from front to back twice on Christmas day, but haven't been rolling that much recently, but definitely not leaving you on any any high objects without supervision since you're ready to move. Smile all the time, you love faces and when you see people you smile and stick out your thoung, . Drooling! Loves to suck on hands/thumb.Teething already? Dad noticed possible teeth this past week.
Movement: Rolling? Sort of. Grabbing objects.
Go-to eats: Booby milk. I've been pumping since I got back to work, but since you've always been good about taking a bottle and formula from the beginning I know you are always getting fed. But want to try and breastfeed for as long as possible.
Best moment of the week(s): Gosh this is tough because every moment with you has been wonderful. I think since this is my first post since you've been born I will be better about keeping this up to date.
Emma's favorite things: You love faces, you are so social. You love your giraffe blankets. And your Sophie teething toy. You play on your playmate and grab "cloud" (we just realized you can pull it and it rattles). You loved the carseat, then hated it, now you are 50/50, sometimes cry, but most times now you fall asleep (so grateful for this, keep it up baby girl).
Here are some pics recent pics:

Workout: You love love love the moby. In the beginning I didn't know how to use it, so it was a bit intimating. But then at month 2, Jen showed us how to tie it and you loved to sleep in it while I took walks. Then recently you like to look around and eventually fall asleep, but we might need to let your legs free soon, so you can straddle and see the world. Next tasks if the stroller, it would be great if you liked that stroller to give mommy's back a break. But I know you like to be close to my heart, so that is truly understandable.
Milestones and stressors: Well Dad's back went completely out around the holidays and I almost had a nervous breakdown. And the holidays were completely insane. We had plans every night from Dec 21-26. Non-stop. You even got a little cold :( But things are getting better. We found a nanny, Katrina (she's young, but seems to be good with you). PoPo and Grandpa Pollard watch you every Tuesday and Thursday. Grandma Jeanne helped out a lot last week during my first week back to work, she helped around the house. And now that I am back at work, I miss you so much, but my schedule has been a bit flexible, so I see you as much as I can. I am currently on my first business trip, a quick one. Our first night away was last night! But it sounds like you did very well with PoPo. Such a good girl. Can't wait to see you tonight.

How Far Along: 38 weeks and 6 days!
Size of baby: A pumpkin. Oh my.

Sleep: Since I am done with work, I sleep when I want to! So sometimes I take naps, sometimes I got to bed late and wake up around 9, it's been super nice having that flexibility.
Total Weight Gain: 36 pounds. So since the last post, a month ago I've only gained 2 pounds. Which is good. :) So don't think I'll hit 200 whoppers. Whew!
Symptoms: Pee all the time, but that's nothing new. Hips still hurt at night and just feel heavy. Harder to move around; to get up off the couch, get out of bed or get out of the car. But hanging in there.
Movement: Yes! Been moving. I guess you're not suppose to be moving as much since there is hardly any room in there now since you're getting so big, but definitely keeping an eye on your movements. I love it when you move.
Maternity Clothes: At this point I am wearing what I got. Just feel big. Things are fitting nice and snug. Same as last post, just wear what I have and trying to be comfortable.
Go-to eats: Dad's been cooking! He's been making yummy dinners that I just love. The other night made delicious roasted veggies and filet mignon. But still craving those sweets.
Best moment of the week(s): Being my first week off of work has been amazing. Just not having to worry about work stuff and just focusing on the baby and relaxing. Got 2 prenatal massages, got a pedicure, got my hair done. Brian and I stayed at the Dream Inn on Wednesday night. Just a nice relaxing week. Taking advantage while I can!
Here are some pics recent pics:

Gender: Ella and Addison are our top two contenders, still but I like Ella.
Workout: Walked a mile with mom and dad on Monday, and went swimming. Might try and go swimming today. But other then that lots of exercise is not so easy at this moment.
What I’m looking forward to: Meeting you!! I am getting anxious, excited, nervous but I can't wait to see your cutie face.

Milestones and stressors: Can't believe you're due in a week. What?! That's so crazy. I wonder if you're going to be on time, early, late? I just hope you come out healthy and with no complications. Even if it's painful, I am of course scared of that, but I just want you to be alright. I love you already so much.
